It is normal to feel many things when beginning counselling. Whether you are excited to get started or hesitant and overwhelmed, I look forward to meeting you where you are at. For counselling to be effective there needs to be a good β€œfit” between client and counsellor. Part of our initial meeting will be for you to ask any questions you may have about my approach and the counselling process, and for you to get a sense of whether I am someone you would be comfortable with. During the initial session we will go over the confidentiality and informed consent forms.

Both professional and self-referrals are welcome.

Although the British Columbia MSP does not cover clinical counselling, many extended medical benefits and employer benefits cover all or a portion of registered clinical counselling. I encourage you to speak with your insurance provider about counselling services provided by a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) to determine your eligibility and approved rates of coverage.

In accordance with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, my rate is $120 per hour. I am happy to discuss sliding scale rates if needed.
Payment may be made by cash, cheque, e-transfer, credit card, or paypal.
