Experience

I completed a Masters of Counselling Psychology at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver BC. I have been honoured to work with adults, adolescents, and children around a variety of presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, body image concerns, self-regulation, loss, and transitions. I received comprehensive training in working with individuals struggling with complex developmental trauma and attachment-related issues.

Prior to completing graduate school I worked and volunteered in diverse mental health and community agencies in Nelson, Victoria, Toronto and Vancouver, including those specializing in eating disorders, hospice care, and mood disorders. I have worked in provincially funded programs providing counselling for children and youth who have witnessed violence, and women who have experienced abuse.
